I have known these ladies for about 20 years. When I think of that I feel REALLY OLD! One of the sisters, Rani, is moving to another state for a year and they are all so close that they wanted to have great recent photos of each other to have while Rani is gone. It was very easy to take beautiful pictures of beautiful women.

I was able to shoot the baptism of Korinne in June, who was a newborn I shot in April. With little ones I love being able to document how much they grow in just a few short months. Korinne changed so much in just 2 months, she looked like a totally different baby. Still cute as ever but you can really see her features developing. Korinne was baptized at Greenfield Peace Lutheran Church.

Well it’s the end of the summer and I am a little behind on my blog. In fact I am 23 shoots behind on my blog. The summer has been a little nuts and the blog has gotten demoted to the bottom of the list. So before the fall wedding rush starts I decided to update my bog, ot at least update it as much as I can : )

Today Jayson and I shot Lexi’s Communion party. We shot candids at the party and we also took family pictures for the guests to take home with them. Lexi’s party was so much fun for all the kids! It was held at Andiamo’s in Novi and it’s such a pretty setting for pictures on their patio. Congratulations Lexi!

Two months ago I had no idea what a blog was or why I would EVER want one. Then it came time to redesign my website and I had to pick 5-10 of my favorite images. How in the world could I ever do that! For the past eight years my husband and I have been sitting in the dark and using rubbermaid totes as end tables because I can’t decide on lamps or furniture. Now I have to pick 10 images to represent my entire body of work! Impossible.
The fact is my favorite image changes weekly, daily or even hourly depending on my mood… enter the blog. This is where I can post my most recent work, my favorite new images, or interesting place I’ve shot.
